About the course
Music can be a powerful and inclusive tool in SEND settings, supporting communication, regulation, emotional wellbeing, and engagement - even when words are hard to find. This course helps educators, carers, and professionals use music intentionally and confidently as part of everyday practice.
Across four modules, you’ll explore why music is effective for children and young people with SEND, how it affects the brain and sensory systems, and how simple, adaptable music activities can support a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, and PMLD.
No musical training is required, and the focus is on responsive, inclusive approaches rather than musical skill or performance.
